Panoramic x-ray equipment

Panoramic

Panoramic x-ray (orthopantomography) is an extremely useful diagnostic examination that gives the dentist a complete image of the mouth. In combination with the clinical examination, it helps detect problems that might otherwise go unnoticed (e.g. impacted teeth, cysts, and other pathological lesions of the jaw bones).

For this reason, our clinic is equipped with a high-definition digital orthopantomograph with minimal radiation exposure.

X-rays are printed on a thermal printer using special plates and can also be provided to the patient in digital form. Full-mouth (periapical) x-rays are also digital, and in all cases protective lead aprons are used to safeguard the patient.
